The Julius Baer Foundation-Germany was established in Frankfurt in 2019 to focus on three socially beneficial core areas:  the promotion of vocational training projects, the reduction of inequality in both wealth and opportunity, and the development of sustainable alternatives to plastics.

Since its inception, the Foundation has supported from the very beginning a project in the area of vocational training: The JOBLINGE initiative guides youth from socioeconomically challenging backgrounds in their quest to achieve enduring integration into the labour market and broader German society.

In addition to supporting projects in the three core areas, the Foundation has committed to sharing its managerial expertise with other charitable organisations and advising Bank clients as a trusted companion on their personal philanthropic journeys.

As the second grant-making entity of the Julius Baer Group, we draw upon the extensive knowledge and experience of the Julius Baer Foundation, which was established in Zürich in 1965.
