Invitation to the Annual General Meeting 2017 published – Ivo Furrer nominated for election to Board of Directors




Ivo Furrer, member of the Corporate Executive Board and CEO Switzerland of Swiss Life Group until the end of March 2017, has been nominated for election to the Board of Directors of Julius Baer Group Ltd. at the Annual General Meeting on 12 April 2017, for which the invitation has been published today.

Zurich, 20 March 2017 – Ivo Furrer will be proposed for the election to the Board of Directors of Julius Baer Group Ltd. at the Annual General Meeting on 12 April 2017. In addition, he is expected to become member of the Board of Directors of Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd. During his remarkable career in the financial and insurance sector, Ivo Furrer has held several important management positions at, amongst others, Winterthur Insurance, Credit Suisse Group, Zurich Financial Services and Swiss Life Group, both internationally as well as in Switzerland.
