Zurich/Lugano, 8 January 2020 – Effective 1 January 2020, Ettore Bonsignore took over the newly created position of Market Head Italy & Ticino as part of Julius Baer’s announced regional realignment. As new Location Head in Lugano, he is responsible for the Ticino market, in addition to the Italian market. Julius Baer currently employs roughly 200 staff in Ticino.

Ettore Bonsignore joined Julius Baer in October 2019 as Market Head Italy. He previously worked for PKB Privatbank Lugano, where he was Head of the Private Banking division and member of the Executive Board as of 2016. From 2012 to 2016, he had been Regional Head Swiss Domestic Clients at Credit Suisse in Lugano, and from 2009 to 2012 Head Private Banking Italy at Credit Suisse in Milan.
