Zurich, 2 Septembre 2024 – Andreas Weisshaupt will join Bank Julius Baer on 1 December 2024 and take over as Head of the Lucerne Branch on 1 January 2025. He will succeed Jürg Haverkamp, who has headed the Central Switzerland branch very successfully over the past five years, after having held various management positions at Julius Baer in Lucerne since 1999. Jürg Haverkamp has decided to focus on client service until his retirement in 2026.
Andreas Weisshaupt has more than 20 years of experience in the financial industry and in private banking. He has been Head of Private Banking Entrepreneur Desk at Luzerner Kantonalbank since 2018. Previously, he was responsible for the Private Clients & Family Office division at the consulting firm Balmer-Etienne in Lucerne. Andreas Weisshaupt holds a law degree from the University of Fribourg (lic.iur.), an MBA Finance from Coventry University and is a certified financial planner.
