Elbphilharmonie ’Innerviews’ - Vanessa Porter

"When music and culture disappear, I no longer feel whole," says the up and coming percussionist Vanessa Porter. Join her on a walk through the Elbphilharmonie and discover the 'Innerview' of the amazing concert hall and this emerging talent.
Elbphilharmonie 'Innerviews'
Whether through the sheer size of the building, the intertwining of tradition and modernity or the attention to detail - the connection between art and architecture provides artists and viewers alike with new insights. In the ’Innerviews’ series, emerging talents are invited to discover the Elbphilharmonie for themselves and share what is on their minds.
After studying at the Royal College of Music in London (with David Hockings) and the Musikhochschule in Lübeck (with Johannes Fischer), Vanessa Porter completed her master’s degree at the Musikhochschule Stuttgart (with Marta Klimasara, Klaus Dreher and Jürgen Spitschka) with top marks in summer 2018.
Music is about highlighting and feeling individual moments.
