Stephen has over 35 years of finance experience, all but 12 of which have been in a private banking environment. Stephen has worked in London, Guernsey and Singapore, where he ran a competitor private banking business. Stephen has a particular specialism in “offshore” credit and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers, a Fellow of the Chartered Association of Certified Accountants and a Professional Member of the International Compliance Association. He was appointed Branch Manager in 2017.

Nigel has over 35 years of banking experience, working in a private banking environment for over 25 years formerly with ANZ Bank and Bank of Bermuda.  Nigel has mainly worked in the Treasury and Markets area and whilst with Bank of Bermuda he was the European Treasurer and Head of Client FX globally.  Extended secondments included working in Geneva for ANZ and setting up the European Treasury for Bank of Bermuda in Dublin. In 1997 Nigel attained the Treasury Professional Development Program Diploma from the University of Melbourne, he holds the ACI Dealing Diploma and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment.

Jonathan has 20 years of financial experience of which 3 were spent as a Graduate Trainee with a local competitor bank. He has worked in various locations including Sydney, Australia and undertook regular secondment to Dublin, Luxembourg and the Isle of Man. Jonathan has specialised in currency and financial markets and has developed systems and processes to deliver strategies to both the client and bank side. He holds the ACI Dealing Diploma, the Investment Advice Certificate, is a Chartered Member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is fully RDR level 4 compliant. 

Jon joined Julius Baer in early 2008 after a career in compliance and risk which saw him start out with Lloyds Bank before moving to work in the insurance sector for a number of years.  He then joined the local regulator, the Guernsey Financial Services Commission, where he had the opportunity to regulate a range of financial services providers and experience life from the regulator’s perspective. Jon was promoted to Chief Risk Officer in October 2017, having previously acted in a range of Risk, Legal and Compliance roles, more recently as Deputy CRO and MLRO for both the Guernsey branch and Julius Baer Trust Company (CI) Limited. Jon is a Fellow of the International Compliance Association.

Jean-Luc Le Tocq is Head of Private Banking at Julius Baer in Guernsey. Prior to joining Julius Baer in early 2016, Jean-Luc worked in the private banking team at Credit Suisse for 26 years. He was the Head of Relationship Management and Investment Advisory in Guernsey and a member of the Channel Islands Executive Board from 2002 to 2015. A graduate of St Andrew’s University, he is qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers and is a Chartered Wealth Manager.

Craig Allen is Head of Investment Management at Julius Baer in Guernsey. Prior to joining Julius Baer in early 2016, Craig spent eight years at Credit Suisse where he served on four different boards across the UK and Guernsey. For five of these years, Craig headed up the Investment Management business in the UK, Channel Islands and Gibraltar. Craig holds a First Class BSc (Hons) degree in Mathematics and French from the University of Exeter and is a Chartered Wealth Manager. In October 2017, Craig was featured in the Citywire Top 100 for Wealth Management.

Frank has been at Julius Baer since August 2002. He brings with him a wealth of experience from within the Julius Baer Group and is currently Head of Nordic and UK International business within the Group. He is a Chartered Financial Analyst and holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Zurich with a speciality in banking and financial markets.

Shaun is Head of Intermediaries at Julius Baer in Guernsey. He joined the Bank in 2007 and worked in Private Banking until 2010 where he formed the Intermediaries Team and has seen its successful growth during this time.  He has worked in the Guernsey finance industry for some 23 years. Shaun has experience in credit, mortgages, treasury and private banking.
