Complaints in relation to the services of Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd can be made in person at the above address, by telephone or in writing by email to your respective Relationship Manager. Alternatively, complaints can be sent to complaints.dubai@juliusbaer.com. Once received by Julius Baer (Middle East) Limited, your complaint will be responded to in accordance with the provisions of the DFSA Conduct of Business Module.

Islamic Finance

Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd holds an endorsement from the Dubai Financial Services Authority to operate an “Islamic Window”, in accordance with the DFSA Islamic Finance Rules (“Islamic Finance Rules”) and DIFC Law No.13 of 2004 Regulating Islamic Financial Business. The DFSA Islamic Window permits Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd to provide Advising and Arranging services in relation to Islamic Finance products that are offered by Bank Julius Baer & Co. Ltd and third party financial institutions.  

Pursuant to the Islamic Finance Rules, Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd has appointed a Shariah Supervisory Board (“SSB”), acting through Amanie Advisors Ltd. The Members of the Julius Baer (Middle East) Ltd SSB are: (i) Dr Mohamed Ali Elgari (Chairman); (ii) Dr Osama Al Dereai; (iii) Dr Muhammad Amin Ali Qattan; and (iv) Prof. Dr. Abdul Aziz Khalifa Al Qassar.
