Felix Oeschger new Head for Zurich Market

Bank Julius Baer appoints Felix Xaver Oeschger as Head of its Zurich Market with effect from 1 March 2020.

25 November 2019 – Felix Xaver Oeschger will join Julius Baer on 1 March 2020 as the new Head for the Zurich market and will be responsible for business with private banking clients in the Zurich area. He succeeds Andreas Feller, who will assume the newly created position of Market Area Head German-speaking Switzerland as part of the announced regional realignment effective 1 January 2020. Felix Oeschger will report to Andreas Feller.

Felix Oeschger joins Julius Baer from Lombard Odier, where he has been Head Swiss Clients Zurich since 2013. Prior to that, he spent over 14 years in various functions in Credit Suisse’s Private Banking division, most recently as Deputy Sector Head Market Area Zurich Center. He holds a law degree from the University of Zurich and an Executive MBA from the University of St. Gallen (HSG).

Yves Robert-Charrue, designated Head of Switzerland & Europe, Middle East and Africa, says: “We are very pleased that Felix Oeschger will join our company as Head of Zurich. He brings many years of experience in private banking and a strong track record to Julius Baer. At the same time, we would like to thank Andreas Feller for taking over as Head of our Private Banking business in German-speaking Switzerland. I am convinced that, with the new structure and the substantial recruitment of new staff, we are very well positioned to offer our clients excellent service in our important home market of Switzerland and also to continue to grow.”
