Steinway Youth Piano Competitions
Supporting musical excellence by identifying, encouraging, and promoting young pianists across the Asia Pacific region
Steinway piano competitions serve to identify, encourage, and promote young pianists during the formative stages of their careers.
Through national competitions across Asia Pacific, young pianists audition to compete in the ‘Steinway Regional Finals Asia’. At this event, held at the concert hall of Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music at the National University of Singapore, an overall winner for Asia Pacific is selected. This pianist will go on to represent Asia Pacific and perform alongside representatives from other continents at the prestigious ‘International Steinway Festival’, an important biennial musical event organised by Steinway & Sons in Hamburg, Germany.
