The Federal Act on Data Protection (FADP) and the corresponding ordinance have been completely overhauled to mirror the technological and social developments of our time. In particular, the transparency of processing personal data has been improved.

The law requires that pension institutions such as the Pension Funds of the Julius Baer Group inform their beneficiaries about how and for what purpose their personal data is processed, who has access to the data and how the beneficiaries can exercise their rights regarding their personal data.
