Zurich, 8 May 2023 – Marcel Suhner will assume the position of Head Intermediaries German- and Italian-Speaking Switzerland of Julius Baer with immediate effect. Together with the local teams, he will be responsible for serving the Bank’s intermediaries clients in these Swiss regional markets through a dedicated offering and services tailored to their specific needs and requirements. He is taking over from Michel Yigit, who has decided to pursue a new opportunity outside the Bank.

Marcel Suhner has been with Julius Baer since 2015, when he joined the Intermediaries Northern Europe & UK Business Development team. Since 2016, he has been Head Intermediaries Europe and has successfully grown Julius Baer’s intermediaries business in the UK and across Europe. Prior to joining Julius Baer, he spent over ten years in various roles in private banking or intermediaries divisions of UBS and Credit Suisse.

David Reymond, Head Intermediaries APAC & EMEA Julius Baer, will take over as Head Intermediaries Europe ad interim.
