Julius Baer Apprentices Program

Apprenticeships are a long-standing tradition at Julius Baer. Our goal is to provide you with comprehensive training that will open doors for you in the banking industry. With the Julius Baer Apprentices Program we make sure that you are well prepared to enter professional life and can be groomed as part of the next generation of employees in our company.

Your training as a bank clerk

We offer eight apprenticeships as a bank clerk either in the "E" track or the "M" track. These are eight excellent opportunities for an ambitious high school graduate such as you. The 8 apprenticeships for 2013 are already complete. You can apply for the new apprenticeships, starting in August 2014, from summer 2013 on.

Your bank apprenticeship consists of two parts: In the practical part, you work in six departments at Julius Baer and gain broad experience of the daily activities. The classroom part is covered on the one hand by the KV Zurich Business School of the Swiss Association of Commercial Employees and on the other hand by the "Center for Young Professionals in Banking" (CYP).

Your IT apprenticeship with a focus on systems technology

We offer two spots for a 4-year IT apprenticeship with a focus on "Systems Technology" and a professional matriculation certificate. We give you sound IT training with emphasis on practice. The two spots for 2013 are already full. For the apprenticeships starting August 2014, you can apply from summer 2013 on.
