Julius Baer celebrates opening of Representative Office in Tel Aviv
Official opening on Rothschild Boulevard complements global networkJulius Baer, the leading Swiss private banking group, today celebrates the opening of its representative office in Israel. The new location is headed by Ran Heistein as Chief Representative, while Israel Market Head Dan Sagui has the overall responsibility for the Bank’s Israel activities.
With the opening of the new representative office in Tel Aviv, Julius Baer marks another important milestone in the development of its global network, which comprises offices in more than 40 locations in over 20 countries.
The official opening ceremony of the Bank’s representative office on Rothschild Boulevard in Tel Aviv was hosted by Raymond J. Baer, Chairman of the Board of Julius Baer Group. In his welcoming remarks, Mr. Baer said: “The expansion into the Israeli market is a proud and important step for our Bank. It is evidence of our strategy of expanding our footprint in key growth markets. The decision to open the Tel Aviv representative office reflects the importance the Bank assigns to the strength of the Israeli economy, and the potential it sees for future growth and development.”
Dan Sagui, Israel Market Head, who is based in Zurich and oversees the Bank’s Israeli business in Tel Aviv, Geneva, Singapore, Zurich and London, said: “We are confident in the great potential the Israeli market has to offer, and are determined to play a key role in providing excellent wealth management services to an ever-growing Israeli clientele.”
