Rossi, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of Bank Julius Baer Europe AG. Heiko Schlag will join the two existing members of the Management Board of Bank Julius Baer Europe AG, Christian E. Dubler and Dr. Gerhard Grebe.
Heiko Schlag spent around 19 years at HypoVereinsbank AG, where he served the needs of private and corporate clients. He held a variety of positions during this time and was most recently a member of the Executive Board of Private Banking Germany. Heiko Schlag is a proven expert on the German private banking market and holds a degree in Business Administration.
"Germany is the Julius Baer Group's most important European market in the area of private banking outside our Swiss home market. By strengthening our management team in Frankfurt, we are laying the foundations for the further growth of our operations in this attractive market," added Rossi.
Bank Julius Baer Europe AG has held a full banking licence for the German market since 1989 and already has branches in Frankfurt, Duesseldorf, Hamburg, Munich and Stuttgart. The bank has invested in the growth of its teams and infrastructure in its existing locations on an ongoing basis to ensure the continued expansion of its position in Germany.
