In the past years, Urs Monstein has held various important back office positions at Julius Baer, most recently as Head Strategic Platform Projects. In 2009/10 he was responsible for the successful integration of ING Bank (Switzerland) into Julius Baer. Before joining Julius Baer, he was Chief Operating Officer at Ehinger & Armand von Ernst. Urs Monstein holds a PhD in Law and a degree in Economics from the University of St. Gallen.
Robert Schleich joined Bank Julius Baer in 2006 as Head IT & Operations and Member of the Extended Executive Board. Since then he has been instrumental in constantly upgrading the Bank’s reliable IT platform and back office processes to keep pace with the strong volume growth of recent years and the fast changing requirements of the business. Furthermore, he decisively contributed to the integration of the SBC private banks in 2006/07 as well as ING Bank (Switzerland) in 2009/10 onto the existing platform.
